Cheetah IIC

The Cheetah IIC is a 25-ton fighter flown as an interceptor, rebuilt on Clan technology from the Inner Sphere Cheetah F-10 it descends from. Where the F-10 carried a single Small Laser in the nose and one Medium Laser in each wing, the IIC drops the nose laser entirely and mounts two Improved Heavy Medium Lasers in the right wing and two more in the left wing. CASE sits in each wing alongside those weapons, and a light active probe occupies the nose in place of the old laser. The XXL engine and Reflective armor replace the F-10's Fusion plant and Standard plate, and heat sinks rise from 10 single to 15 double units. Imstar AeroSpace builds the type at Amity, the same factory where the F-10 was also produced.
