The Canis is an 80-ton assault built around a 240 XL fusion engine, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out near 54, sluggish for its weight class. Each arm carries a pair of ER Large Lasers, four in all, while a single Ultra AC/10 sits in each torso. Endo steel structure and standard armor plate the frame, and 16 double heat sinks handle the burn from the laser battery. A jump jet system gives it a 90-metre hop despite its bulk. Ashton 'Mech Production Complex builds the type at its Foster facility on Gregoire.
