The BLF-40 is a 45-ton sniper, a 3073 rebuild of the 3062 BLF-21, cruising at 54 km/h and topping out near 86. Where the BLF-21 carried a pair of ER large lasers and three Streak SRM 2 racks, the BLF-40 fields three Light PPCs, one each in the left torso, right torso, and center torso, along with a rear-facing Medium VSP Laser in the right torso. A targeting computer sits in the left torso, and the C3i computer moves from the center torso to the head. Mitchell Vehicles builds the type at Terra.
