Black Hawk-KU BHKU-OC

The BHKU-OC is a 60-ton heavy that fights at long range, an alternate configuration of the Black Hawk-KU OmniMech fielded alongside the close-in BHKU-O. Where the base configuration crowds both arms with medium pulse lasers and medium lasers, this configuration strips that battery down to a Gauss rifle in the left arm and a single medium laser in the right, trading the base's short-range volume for stand-off punch. It carries fewer heat sinks than the base configuration, running 14 double units against the base's 16, and cruises and tops out at the same 54 and 86 km/h with an identical 150-metre jump range. The design remains easily serviced, and Luthien Armor Works builds it at its OmniMech production facility on Luthien alongside several other manufacturers.
