Recognition Notes
The BTL-C-2OD is a 40-ton medium fielded as a sniper, cruising at 54 km/h and topping out at 86. Where the BTL-C-2O carries a Large Pulse Laser in each arm for close brawling, this configuration mounts a pair of Light PPCs in the left arm and another pair in the right, fighting at stand-off range instead. A targeting computer sits in the right torso alongside the C3i computer carried in the center torso, and the heat-sink count drops from 11 to 10 double sinks. Both configurations share the same endo steel structure and ferro-fibrous armor. The type is built by Com Guard's Tukayyid Omega-Epsilon Facility X, with Arc-Royal MechWorks producing it as well.
