The Arbalest 2 is a 25-ton missile boat that fights at long range, a 3079 rework of the 3077 original. Where the base Arbalest carries a pair of LRM 10 racks split between the torsos, this configuration mounts a single LRM 10 in the right torso, freeing the left torso for a MASC unit that pushes its sprint speed to 108 km/h when engaged. The twin ER medium lasers in the arms carry forward unchanged, cruising at 54 km/h and topping out near 86 under normal power. An ECM suite sits in the head, and the design remains an easily-serviced type. Irece Alpha builds it at Irece.
