Ammon XR

The Ammon XR is a 65-ton fighter flown as a dogfighter, rebuilt around an XL engine in place of the original Ammon's fusion plant. The three ER large lasers in the nose give way to a pair of Improved Heavy Large Lasers in the same position, and the twin Streak SRM 6 launchers in the right wing and left wing are replaced by Streak LRM 15 launchers at those same stations. The ER small laser in the aft position is gone, swapped for a Laser Anti-Missile System covering the aft arc. CASE now guards both the nose and the fuselage, where the original carried CASE only in the fuselage, and the type still runs 20 double heat sinks behind standard armor.
